Ceremony reinterprets the tie and the codes that come with it.
Vintage ties, found and selected one by one, are deconstructed and reconstructed by hand onto fitted cotton T-shirts. Some become collars, others bows, ribbons, or simply a different way of wearing a tie.
The T-shirts are made in Paris from cotton sourced from luxury deadstock. Their close-fitting silhouette and intentionally wide neckline were designed as a contrast to the more formal construction of the tie.
As every tie already carries its own fabric, pattern and history, every piece is different.
Clothes inspired by what we usually save for important occasions, made to be worn without waiting for the next one.
